BAPTISMS | WEDDINGS | FUNERALS
St John’s is a busy parish church where we are very happy to officiate at baptisms, weddings and funerals.
For Baptisms, we generally ask that families are regular worshippers, as all our baptisms take place in the main Parish Eucharist on Sunday at 10.30am. Baptism families will also be contacted by one of our baptism visitors and be invited to a regular newcomer’s reception.
For Weddings, if you live in the parish, or are on the Electoral Roll, we will be happy to officiate at your wedding, after meetings with our marriage preparation team.
For Funerals, we regularly officiate at funerals for parishioners and others who wish to hold their funerals or memorial services here. We also have a team of bereavement visitors, run ecumenically with other local churches.
