THE CHURCH OF ST JOHN THE EVANGELIST, NOTTING HILL
St John's is the Church of England Parish Church for Notting Hill, serving this vibrant and diverse community in the Diocese of London. It has been at the centre of community life in this area since 1845, and with its restoration completed continues its dynamic presence at the heart of the community.
WORSHIP
As a Parish Church of The Church of England our principal purpose is Christian worship. We use all the senses in our worship- sight, sound, smell, touch and taste.
MUSIC
For several years the Parish of St John, Notting Hill has been involved in a major renewal and restoration campaign called Restoring The Future. Central to this programme has been the complete restoration and relocation of St John’s historic organ (www.stjohnsorganproject.com), and the development of a choral music scheme with the appointment of four Choral Scholars
CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
Junior Church takes place most Sundays during term time. (Further details on the schedule are provided on the church website and notice board).
COMMUNITY SPACES
The SPACE is new and unique Community, Arts and Business environment; a place for health, well-being, performance, celebration, community and local business.
