Czech Churches Exhibition - Church365
CHURCH 365, organised with the blessing of His Eminence Dominik Cardinal Duka, Archbishop of Prague, is a Czech exhibition of large black and white photographs documenting the restoration of several endangered churches in the Czech Republic. The pictures are accompanied by the stories of the churches’ history and effort that brought them back to life and to their spiritual traditions. Represented in the exhibition is the Church of St. Anne and St. Lawrence in Prague, founded in 927 by Václav ‘Good King Wenceslas’ and since 1999 in the care of the Dagmar and Václav Havel Foundation, see photo. It was restored and reconstructed in 2004 by the architect Eva Jiricná, a patron of The Friends. For further information please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
The exhibition will be at St. John’s from 12 November - 28 November 2012, open to the public Monday to Friday, 10am - 1pm. Free admission.
